  BEARDS: Why JW men don't have them

  i know this has been dished over before, but when i was doing some research i discovered a couple of interesting points.

  as far as i can find, there is only one wt article that implies that jw men should not have beards.

  once again in a wt study article entitled " imitate jesus' example of watchfulness " the wt society tries to control jw members through fear mongering, confusing them by inconsistent and contradictory wording, and emphasizing devotion to wt society " sacred service " over devotion to family and friends.. we all know the wt society has always said that " nobody knows the day and hour " of the alleged armageddon - yet out of the same mouth the wt society claims to know the " day " of the end close enough to have duped people with 1975 and put fear into jw's that the " end " is " imminent" .

  notice these quotes from paragraph 4 in this article.

  it states, " in brief, jesus wants us to remain watchful because of what we know and what we do not know.

  Like I commented on a earlier thread:

  Throughout my young childhood, the hearing of children being hurried down the isle being spanked and then spanked some more, always caused my stomach to be in knots while setting there doing nothing but circling the word “God” and “Jehovah” in some old Witness magazines or books. Somehow, even at six or seven I knew it was all poppycock.

  Kingdom Hall Libraries just for beating kids.....isn't this Child abuse?

  yeah no "sunday school" for our kids because it's too "christendom" for us, so our 5 year old's need to sit thru watchtowers on masturbation etc.. when they get bored or wriggle too much.....out to the library!!!!

  is it child abuse to force kids to sit thru an adult meeting for 2 hours...and beat them when they can't?.

  I need help finding class action Attorneys

  merry christmas, and a happy new year everyone.. do any of you have information on any attorneys who are serious about a class action suit concerning shunning and the damage that has resulted from it; i could sure use a good attorney.

  my sister has told me i will never see my 92 year old mother again who lives with her, until she is on her death bed or has died.

  i think this 2011 july watchtower magazine has prompted them to treat me and my brother this way, for the first time in 14 years.

  Merry Christmas, and a happy New Year everyone.

  Do any of you have information on any attorney’s who are serious about a class action suit concerning shunning and the damage that has resulted from it; I could sure use a good attorney. My sister has told me I will never see my 92 year old mother again who lives with her, until she is on her death bed or has died. I think this 2011 July Watchtower magazine has prompted them to treat me and my brother this way, for the first time in 14 years. If you have run across any law firms that would be favorable please pass it on. God Bless.

  me and my wife took a nice pumpkin pie and some brand new pajamas to my dear mother who stays at my sisters house, she is ninety one (91) mind you, ok it was her birthday but there was no candles or a birthday card and she did need some new pajamas.

  ok, two weeks later, my brother in-law comes to our house and practically forces his way into the house, and proceeds to tell my wife who has never been a jehovahs witness ever but does know their rules because i explained them to her, that he does not want no more holiday food in his house of any kind, (of note) his wife who is a witness ate some of the home made pumpkin pie and if truth be known my brother in-law did too.

  anyway i am trying to make some sort of sense of this, he comes to our house laying down the law of jehovahs witnesses and insulted me and my wife all over a simple homemade delicious pumpkin pie which is my moms favorite, two weeks after the fact.

I was forced to demand he leave the house, he became indignant at me and called me an apostate, and said I was mixed up in my head, additionally he knows I had a life threatening brain injury which left me with some difficulties.
